    Under the ministry of Water and Energy, the National Biogas Program Coordination Unit wants to recruit qualified and competent candidates on the following vacant positions.

    1. I. Job Description

      Program Unit:              National Biogas Program Coordination Unit (NBPCU)

      Duty Station:                Addis Ababa

      Number of post:          One

      Contract Period:          Until January 11th, 2024 with possibility of extension

    2. Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage a team of call/contact center advisor.
    • Oversee call center daily execution and management.
    • Handle escalation calls and be available when an agent appears to need assistance.
    • Monitor queue and track inbound calls. Keep agents aware of inbound calls, calls waiting, abandonment rate, etc.
    • Motivate and encourage agents through positive communication and feedback.
    • Submit regular reports to PMEO, NBPCU and seek new ideas and strategies to improve performance at the center.
    • Keep up with trends and happenings in the industry and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
    • Ensure that clients are kept happy and satisfied at all times by providing prompt response and solutions to their challenges at all times.
    • Ensure a safe and harmonious working environment for all other team members and delegate duties to all team members.
    • Ensue that you maintain professional usage of organization’s (programme’s) systems. i.e; skype, internet, social media, etc.
    • Executes other additional responsibilities whenever need arises by the organization.

     

    1. Educational Background and Work Experiences
    1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer science, Computer Engineering, Management Information System (MIS), Information Technology, Journalism & Communication and related fields).
    2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a Call/Contact Center.
    1. Technical and Other Skills
    1. Advanced computer and presentation skills.
    2. Conversant with Microsoft office (MS Excel/ word / PowerPoint, etc) and comfortable with computers and software’s.
    3. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
    4. Demonstrated service excellence at a senior level in a Call Center.
    5. Ability to prioritize work and workloads across a team.
    6. Good in communication skills, computer skills and customer-service skills.

    V. Salary: Competitive

    VI. Language: 

    1. Good in speaking and writing Amharic and English Language.
    2. Speaking Oromiffa/Tigiregna/Sidamegna/Wolaitegna languages is advantageous.

    Program Unit:              National Biogas Program Coordination Unit (NBPCU)

    Contract Period:           Until January 11th, 2024 with possibility of extension

    II. Key Responsibilities

    • Meet the daily target as set as per the project, i.e., voice calls, Interactions, and surveys.
    • Manage all inbound and outbound calls and resolve all customer queries.
    • Maintain 100% availability on the system, i.e., Total time one is available to pick calls/ make calls.
    • Ensure that you disposition your offline activities accordingly.
    • Ensure that there’s zero dropping of calls.
    • Meet the total number of productive hours for the day as per the assigned shift.
    • Zero number of reported breach/violent of the organization’s (program’s) policies.
    • Ensue that you maintain professional usage of organization’s (program’s) systems. i.e., skype, internet, social media, etc.

    III. Educational Background and Work Experiences

    Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a relevant field (Computer science, Computer Engineering, Management Information System (MIS), Information Technology, Journalism & Communication and related fields. Call center experience is advantageous.

    IV.Technical and Other Skills

    1. Advanced computer and presentation skills.
    2. Conversant with Microsoft office (MS Excel/ word / PowerPoint, etc) and comfortable with computers and software’s.
    3. Good communication & interpersonal skills.
    4. Time Management.

    V. Salary:  Competitive

    VI. Languages: 

    1. For call centre position 1st:
      • S/he has to speak and write Amharic and Oromiffa languages.
    2. For call centre position 2nd:
      • S/he has to speak and write Amharic and Tigregna languages.
    3. For call centre position 3rd:
      • S/he has to speak and write Amharic, Sidamegna and Wolaitegna languages.
    4. For all the above positions, speaking additional language(s) other than the above mentioned languages is advantageous.
